Аннотация: The translation of fairy tales from Arabic into Russian involves a process of cultural and pragmatic adaptation. The study identifies two strategies for translating Arabic fairy tales into Russian: foreignization and domestication. Foreignization preserves the linguistic and cultural values of the original, fostering interest in a Показать полностьюforeign culture. Domestication ensures clarity and comprehensibility of the fairy tale text for young readers. Both verbal and non-verbal components undergo adaptation.
