Аннотация: Objective of the study is to theoretically substantiate and develop a pedagogical model for student athletic training in physical education at a university and recommend it for practical use. The study utilized a variety of data collection approaches, including the study of theoretical and methodological sources, thematic surveys, interviews, monitoring of the educational process, engaging experts, classifying data, creating models, and identifying key aspects. The integrated application of these methods allowed us to collect and organize the necessary scientific and methodological material for the subsequent creation of an experimental model for developing athletic training in physical education for university students. Results and conclusions. The conducted scientific and theoretical analysis, systematization of the studied material, and abstraction facilitated the development of an experimental model for student athletic training in physical education at a university.
